About Our Doctors
Monica LaDouceur, O.D.
Dr. LaDouceur grew up in the beautiful Columbia Gorge, completed her Bachelors of Science at Oregon State University and received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University.
She completed her clinical internships at Lebanon Veteran’s Hospital, Pennsylvania, Wenzhou Medical College, China, and Landstuhl Regional Army Medical Center, Germany. After graduating from Optometry School in 2008 she spent three years in the US Navy and five years in the US Navy Reserves. She was stationed in Japan at Naval Hospital Yokosuka.
Dr. LaDouceur really enjoys participating in humanitarian outreach missions. She has had the opportunity to provide eye care and glasses to rural villagers in the countries of Ghana, Guatemala and Sri Lanka.
She and her husband, Ryan, a teacher at Gardiner Middle School in Oregon City, moved back to the Pacific Northwest because they loved the small town feel of the area. They enjoy meeting new people, traveling, and spending time with their four young children.
Dr. LaDouceur is available for appointments Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays.
